Stone Federation Golf Day: The Results
Last week we hosted our 2021 Stone Federation Golf Day at The Drift Golf Club in Surrey. The event, now into its 6th year, attracted teams from across the UK, with 36 players battling it out across the 18 holes.
After a challenging but enjoyable morning of golf, the teams retired to the clubhouse for a BBQ and a chance to network with the other teams.
The scores were all very close, but in the end, it was the Schlüter-Systems team, captained by Head of Sales, Lee Rowland, who took first place, followed by last year's winners, Welsh Slate, captained by Commercial Director, Michael Hallé who came in 2nd, narrowly beating the team from Szerelmey on a back 9 countback after they both scored the same total.
The individual prizes were won by Dave Cranfield of Athena Stonecare (Longest Drive, Hole 7), Gary Hollingdale of TileEx (Longest Drive, Hole 18) and Jordan Poultney of Albion Stone (Nearest the Pin).
We would like to thank all those who came and helped to make the day such a success. It was a wonderful opportunity to gather again after such an extended period.
