As a member company of Stone Federation Great Britain, you are able to nominate representatives to serve on the Federation’s working groups and committees. These form the backbone of the Federations work throughout the year.
Each working group committee meet 2 or 3 times a year either in the morning or the afternoon and meetings, on average, last approximately 2 ½ hours. Travelling expenses are sometimes available for representatives attending these meetings.
Representatives attending are able to participate directly in the formation of policy for both the Federation and the industry as whole and comment directly on British Standards, training documents or Codes of practice at first hand.
