This year’s Annual Conference and AGM was another resounding success, presenting members with an informative and insightful look into what 2012 has looked like for Stone Federation Great Britain.

Held at the magnificent Danubius Hotel Regents Park, delegates gathered from across Great Britain to this annual gathering.

The event was designed to be as user friendly as possible, allowing delegates to pick and choose which elements they wished to attend, saving both time and money.

The AGM and Conference were designed to be informative and fun in equal measures.  There was a film shown illustrating the highlights from the Federation’s last 12 months as well as showing members what we have been doing on their behalf.

The film was followed by several talks given by Federation members including peter Harrison, David Ellis, peter Robertshaw, Ian major and David Richardson.  The event also saw the handover of the Federation’s presidency from David Ellis to new president, Iain Kennedy.

There was plenty of opportunity for members to ask questions and put forward ideas in order to further improve the work of the Federation.

The evening saw delegates gather a first-class three course meal followed by the now infamous ‘A Question of Stone’, expertly compared by quizmaster for the night, David Richardson.

The Federation would like to thank all those that attended and contributed to making this such a fantastic event.  For information about our 2013 AGM, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.
