“Twitter?” some of you might be wondering. Its the 140 character micro-blogging site thats gained a huge fan base since its launch in 2006. We think its a great tool to help us to connect with you.

If you follow us on Twitter you will be notified every time we update our website with new content or an interesting news item. We also share information on our events, cpds, training courses and photographs of our members’ projects.

But theres more to just having a presence on Twitter. One of our founding missions is to engage with those choosing and using natural stone. We’re using Twitter to listen to things that people are saying about us and the stone industry.

The conversation is just getting started and we’re excited to already have a growing crowd of followers including architects, local authorities, builders, property developers and of course, Stone Federation members.

If you’re already one of the 10 million people sharing your thoughts on Twitter simply click here and choose ‘follow’. If you’re not yet using Twitter and would like to see what all the fuss it about, click here to sign up. Its easy and free.

If you have any ideas or suggestions about how you’d like us to use twitter, email us at kelly@stonefed.org.uk, or better still, tweet us @stonefederation.
