Member firm Everything Stone is celebrating after achieving an internationally recognised quality mark for its products and services.

Everything Stone has been awarded the ISO 9001:2008 accreditation, a quality management system (QMS) for its ability to provide products and services that meet strict standards.

The family-run business based in Par, near St Austell, offers an extensive range of stone products from countertops, flooring and paving through to bespoke architectural products such as window surround sets, quoins and coping stones.

Phil Battersby, managing director, said he was delighted with the certification, which recognised the hard work and dedication of his small team of ten employees.

“We are over the moon to have achieved this certification,” he said. “It is important for us to demonstrate to others that we have a structured way in managing our business, including the way in which we quote our jobs and deal with customers.”

Everything Stone was established in 2007 and has worked on a wide range of building projects ranging from residential and commercial gardens, to hotel and spa installations.  They have also installed an award-winning Chelsea Flower show garden at the Eden Project, which was created using local Cornish stone and designed by British landscape and garden designer Thomas Hoblyn.

Everything Stone’s showroom includes both a range of internal and external displays to showcase all of its high-end products.

The Federation would like to congratulate Everything Stone on this achievement.
