The last week in November saw the Federation welcome Members from all across the UK to the annual AGM held at the Hilton Warwick.

The day provided Members with the opportunity to see all that the Federation had been involved in over the last twelve months.  With a 30% rise in membership as well as the launch of new publications, courses and industry groups, there was plenty to celebrate.

The day continued with a two seminars sessions covering the changes to Part L of the building regulations and an insight from Skanska’s Nick Baker on a main contractor’s viewpoint on the issues surrounding sustainability and ethical sourcing.

The afternoon provided Members with a chance to attend workshops on some of the industry’s hot topics from the last year.  CE Marking, Digital Marketing & Social Media, Technical issues and Stone Heritage were among the issues covered and attendees found them to be incredibly useful sessions.

The day concluded with a James Bond themed dinner and quiz providing another a chance for Members to relax, catch up with old industry contacts as well as forge new relationships.

The Federation would like to thank all those who contributed to making the day such a resounding success.
