This week we have been in London for the Surface Design Show hosting The Stone Knowledge Hub, showcasing The Stone Tapestry, and connecting with 1000s of architects and interior designers.
The Stone Knowledge Hub featured the following member companies: A F Jones Interiors, Albion Stone, Arcturus Stones, Burlington Stone, Hutton Stone Co., Stamford Stone Co,. and Welsh Slate, and gave them a great opportunity to showcase their materials to leading specifiers and clients.
The Stone Tapestry returned with a fresh expression for the 2025 Surface Design Show. This year’s theme was based on the hexagonal form of The Giant’s Causeway and showcased the beauty, versatility, and sustainability of natural stone as the original sustainable surface.
The response to the tapestry was incredible as the materials on display inspired 1000s of interior designers and architects.
On the show’s final day, Stone Federation also hosted one of the event’s Main Stage panel discussions. Designing with Natural Stone: The Original Sustainable Surface featured Dr. Vanessa Brady OBE, Roisin Lafferty, and Tim Gledstone who are all fantastic advocates for the use of natural stone.
The event as a whole put natural stone, Stone Federation, and its members in the spotlight and it was great to see so many of you visiting the show.
A big thank you to all of the companies who helped to create The Stone Tapestry and those in The Stone Knowledge Hub.
